“The thinkers of the world should by rights be guardians of the worlds mirth.”

-Agnes Repplier

the ARTIST

Nilan is a New York-based artist. His heart belongs to the west coast while his soul was forged in the south. He works as a performer and creator. Which grants him expression as an actor, playwright, director, producer, and teaching artist. He creates work that "agitates and educates the audience." He is an artist who believes the work must always be in service to its audience. A social conscious artist-activist birthing work in hope of action towards a better tomorrow.

He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Where he was a resident company member for three years at the exceptional PlayMakers Repertory Company (under the leadership of Joseph Haj). Nilan has performed across the United States as well as several places in Europe.
